PDF documents - how to
Adobe Acrobat reader
To read the Concept Plan, and other documents, which are PDF files, you will need a program called Adobe Acrobat reader running on your computer.
Adobe Acrobat reader is a free download from http://www.adobe.com. You will need to download and install it on your computer.
When you have the Acrobat reader installed, go back to the web page you were looking at, click on the link and the document should open a temporary copy for you to see. You can save at this point, or consider the instructions below.
Instructions for Downloading a PDF file
This lets you save a copy of the document straight to your computer, to look at as many times as you like, and to perhaps email to others.
- right click on the "Download" link,
- then choose "Save Target".
- choose where you will keep it on your computer.
- when the file has finished downloading, open this file in your Acrobat Reader.
